MINIMALISM
In architecture, the concept of minimalism appeared from the end of the 20th – beginning of the 21st centuries.
Due to the rapid development of private construction, there was a need for design solutions. The direction of minimalism in construction is closely associated with the image component.
Accuracy and rigour today are a mandatory attribute of a five-star hotel or the main office of a multibillion-dollar corporation. The main idea of minimalism in architecture is the desire to leave only the most necessary, each element must fulfill the maximum number of functions. Any decorations and decor elements are excluded, only the maximum simplicity and comprehensiveness of the design.
Great attention is paid to the selection of materials and their quality. Natural materials such as stone, wood, glass or marble are priority. The color scheme should also be characteristic of natural materials, mostly light tones of stone and wood are used. Much attention is paid to lighting, light is used soft and scattered.
