Creating an interior Art Nouveau in an apartment is not at all difficult. It is worth remembering that this is a decorative and refined style. Let’s take a closer look at the apartment in this style.
Modern gravitates to a large amount of free space, so a medium-sized and larger room will be suitable for design in this style. Best of all if it’s a studio apartment.
The walls create only a background in the living room, but in no case focus on themselves. Therefore, we used a pearl tint to color them. The ceiling should be given special attention. On the ceiling there are stained glass windows, which are an unchanged and very important attribute of Art Nouveau. Illuminated by a muffled, non-eye-cutting light, they create a special mood in the living room. The parquet is lined with a classic Christmas tree. The couch has maximum asymmetry in the back. The backs of chairs with outlandish waves tend up. And in the proportion of case furniture, they dominate as much as possible towards the vertical. Constant chandelier with obligatory crystal elements of decor, luxurious and attracting attention. All its metal elements – with gold sputtering. Sofa cushions are covered with dense silk. Charm and comfort gives the room a fireplace. Even if it is electric, but its decor should be as close as possible to the classic look. The task of color in the bedroom is to give ease, romanticity to the room. In order to create a certain intimacy, chambering, darker tones of wine, brown colors were taken, muted, without gloss. To avoid excessive gloom from the dark color, the walls are decorated with non-brown plant ornaments. Its distinctive feature is the vertical location, imitation of natural plant growth. We finished the lower part of the walls in the kitchen with wooden panels, which in this case is very practical. Panels are made of natural wood. The upper part of the walls is covered with silk wallpaper of a pastel tint. Thanks to modern technologies, we created a drawing on the floor, lined with ceramic granite. The kitchen headset is not devoid of nobility: it is made of dark wood, but without angular shapes. All the lighting devices in the kitchen, as you could notice, have a complex shape in the form of intricate monograms. Vegetation. And in the kitchen she also found a place. We especially preferred lilies and irises due to their long, smooth petals in bends.
Modern is the only one of all known styles that did not last very long and so left its mark on the design for a long time. Until now, it is used by extraordinary, confident people, the so-called gourmets of design.
